We’re very pleased to announce that longtime Working with Artists Associate Director and Flash Gallery Director, Valerie Santerli, aka Valerie Photogoddess, has joined the CPAC board of directors. She will be in the gallery Saturday, August 4th from 2-4 pm
I am thrilled to announce my acceptance as a new member of the CPAC Board of Directors. After spending the last year developing my own photographic business and making art, I return refreshed and excited about the direction CPAC is headed and the contribution and positive impact it has on our community. How could I not want to be involved with something so great?! I am looking forward to working with the Board and staff to continue to engage and inspire that very community, to listen and learn from each other, and to share ideas and appreciation for photography. The concept of community is so important and we wouldn’t be here without you. If you want to come by and say hi, show me some images, discuss ideas about new classes, or just talk about photography, I will be in the gallery on Saturday, August 4th from 2-4pm. I would love to see you.
Valerie Photogoddess received her photographic education from the University of Northern Colorado, where she earned a B.A. in 1998. While studying there, she had the opportunity to work under the tutelage of famed mural artist, Leo Tanguma, assisting on several projects which can be seen throughout Colorado. In 2003 Valerie became a dedicated volunteer at Working with Artists and in 2005 became the Associate Director of the organization. In 2011 she resigned from her position at WWA to once again follow her personal artistic goals.
Valerie is currently Gallery Manager at RULE Gallery in Denver, a position she has held since 2007. She also works for Evan Anderman Photography and does freelance photography in the Denver Metro area.
