The CPAC DARKROOM is located inside the Zang Mansion at 7th and Clarkson on Capitol Hill. It is professionally maintained and designed for the Intermediate to professional user. There are 6 enlarger stations, 35mm to 4×5 capabilities, with two sinks, film processing space, Zone VI archival 16×20 washer, and individual storage cubbies.
Rates are as follows:
$35/15 members per day; $45/25weekend; $135/100 month
With CPAC tutor (by appointment): $60/40 hr
Rates include chemicals for B/W printing. Please provide your own paper. Hours of the darkroom are by appointment, Tues – Sat. 10a – 6p, or other hours by approval
Rental hours are 10-6 daily (by appointment), unless by agreement with darkroom manager. Must be intermediate level or above unless accompanied by CPAC tutor (need to verify). Basic chemicals included, renters responsible for paper and supplemental supplies. **Payment arrangements must be made in advance and an orientation session must be completed to secure a reservation.
