Darkroom & Studio Rentals

The CPAC DARKROOM is located inside the Zang Mansion at 7th and Clarkson on Capitol Hill. It is professionally maintained and designed for the Intermediate to professional user. There are 6 enlarger stations, 35mm to 4×5 capabilities, with two sinks, film processing space, Zone VI archival 16×20 washer, and individual storage cubbies.

2012 rates are as follows:
$40/25 members per day; $70/40 weekend; $160/120 month

With CPAC tutor (by appointment): $60/40 hr

Rates include chemicals for B/W printing. Please provide your own paper. Hours of the darkroom are Tues – Sat. 10a – 6p, or other hours by approval

Rental hours are 10-6 daily, unless by agreement with darkroom manager. Must be intermediate level or above unless accompanied by CPAC tutor (need to verify). Basic chemicals included, renters responsible for paper and supplemental supplies. **Payment arrangements must be made in advance to secure a reservation.

The CPAC STUDIO is located at our Belmar facility and will be  available for rental beginning in 2012.

Rates as of January 3, 2012: $100/75 members per 3 hour block; $180/135 per 6 hour block. Multiple block rates available on request.
