In honor of Month of Photography Denver 2017, the Black & White Social at CPAC will host an alternative process mixer and 5-in-5 critique. Alternative process photographers and any else interested in historic and alternative processes are invited to meet and mingle with like-mind individuals in a casual setting. A 5-in-5 will also be held during the mixer, during which alternative process photographers are invited to sign up for a 5-minute time slot to present up to 5 pieces of their work and receive feedback from the other participants. No registration for the mixer is required; participants interested in the 5-in-5 can pre-register for a time slot.

Join the members of the Rocky Mountain Monochrome Salon and discover the world of monochrome photography. Each meeting features formal print sharing, discussions on photography and art, and mingling with other photography enthusiasts. This meeting is free and open to individuals interested in black and white photography.

The mission of the Rocky Mountain Monochrome Salon is to support fine art photographers across the Rocky Mountain region while educating the public about the history, processes and value of black and white (monochrome) photography today. The members of the Rocky Mountain Monochrome Salon use black and white photography to weave a vibrant tableau in shades of gray, showing that what makes us the same can also make us wonderfully different.
