The origin of the Hipstamatic is the look and unpredictability of plastic toy cameras. This workshop will be a practical introduction to the techniques and aesthetics of popular toy cameras. The student will learn the basics of lo-fi film photography and explore analog improvisation in image making as a creative tool.
During the course of this one-day workshop, we will be making a small shooting expedition and learning how to process film in the darkroom.
