Permanent Collection

Over 600 fine art prints donated since 1963

CPAC’s Permanent Collection was established in 1963 with gifts from Yousuf Karsh, Phillip Halsman, Ansel Adams, and many others. Today, it holds more than 600 fine art prints that offer a rare historical overview of 20th century photography.

While the collection represents some of the world’s most celebrated photographers, such as André Kertész, Imogen Cunningham, Richard Misrach, and Max Yavno, it also includes work by relatively unknown master photographers such as Winter Prather and R. Ewing Stiffler. In addition, it includes contemporary works by gallery exhibitors such as Adam Milner, Richard van Pelt, and Matt Slaby.

We are currently exploring ways to increase online access to this invaluable resource and teaching tool. In the meantime, enjoy a few highlights below. Want to learn more? Contact us at info@cpacphoto.org.
