Explore the latest fiber art techniques to transfer your photographs onto fabric or other materials. Learn to integrate your images with various kinds of textured backgrounds and to use layering, transparent paints and other techniques to alter or age your photographic images as you incorporate them into finished wall hangings or collages.
Fitsell co-founded Front Range Contemporary Quilters. Along with fiber pieces, she explores collage using paper, fabric and the stitched line. As a teacher, Fitsell strives to help others find their artistic voices and solve technical problems to allow for self-expression. Her work is shown locally and at Chameleon Nation in Kingston, Ontario.
