Danae Falliers

Danae Falliers

Locating a balance between photography and drawing, Danae Falliers depicts the American landscape from an evolutionary perspective.  Surpassing the simplistic representation of a moment, Danae focuses on the vast landscape as an idealized poetic memory. She is intrigued by the concepts of transience and presents possibilities found in the sublime.

Danae holds an MFA from The University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA and has most recently exhibited at Colorado Photographic Arts Center and Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Danae has taught at Colorado State University and the University of New Mexico. She lives and works in Colorado and New Mexico and is represented in Denver by Robischon Gallery and in San Francisco by Hamamjian Modern.
